How to Freeze and Thaw Chicken Breast Safely and Effectively



I absolutely love easy and quick baked chicken breast recipes for dinner. Baking times will depend on the size and thickness of the chicken breast. For example, if you have a chicken breast that is about 5 to 6 ounces, it will take approximately 20 to 25 minutes to bake in a 400F degree oven. I prefer to bake my chicken breast at 400F because the high temperature makes the chicken gets juicier and more flavourful.

Evidence, such as a 2022 review published in Nutrients, suggests eating fresh lean white meat (like chicken breast) may have potentially beneficial effects on cardiometabolic risk factors.


Chicken breast is part of many healthy diets, including the DASH diet and Mediterranean diets. As long as it isn't prepared with excessive amounts of saturated fat, salt or sugar, including a serving of chicken breast in your overall healthy diet can support your health goals in an impressive way.

2. In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter with a bit of oil from the sun-dried tomatoes over medium-high heat. Add chicken breasts and cook for about 4 minutes on each side until browned. Once done and no longer pink, transfer grilled chicken breasts to a plate and set aside.

4. Add spinach to the mixture and continue cooking until wilted. Add the chicken breasts back to the pan and reheat for 2-3 minutes. Serve the creamy chicken with spinach and parmesan sauce immediately, garnished with fresh chopped parsley. Enjoy!


You can keep the creamy chicken with spinach for up to 2 days in your refrigerator, using an airtight container. Reheat the chicken gently in a skillet with a few drops of water to loosen the sauce.
